Jimmy Forbis is a country music singer who was born in Houston, Texas, and grew up around Delaware, Ohio. Jimmy started out singing in duos and trios and worked his way up to record in Nashville with great producers including David Malloy. He started his own band named Fogery Run in 2005, which was sponsored by Wal-Mart and Coca-Cola to raise money for Children’s Miracle Network, before going solo.
Jimmy’s sound is heavily influenced by Garth Brooks and songs such as Share by George Straight and Don’t Close Your Eyes by Keith Williams. Jimmy primarily sings covers of popular country music artists such as Sam Hunt, although he performs original music as well. No matter what he is singing, his delivery is always full of energy and emotion.
